My Top Five Netflix Shows: June 2015

Do you ever just log onto Netflix and have absolutely no idea what to watch? The amount of content Netflix provides can be overwhelming.... at least to me. I often find myself stumped on what I really want to watch and end up watching YouTube videos instead. So, in order to save you guys from having the same problem, I've decided to make a lovely post on some of my favorite Netflix shows!

Dexter

Ahh, Dexter... America's favorite serial killer. Unlike your average serial killer, Dexter uses his desire to kill for good. What he refers to as his 'dark passenger,' Dexter often fulfills his needs by ending the lives of people he feels deserve it such as rapists and other murderers. This show always kept me on my feet and thirsting for more. There was definitely constant nights that I would stay up and watch episode after episode even when I had class the next morning. oops.  I've recently finished this show and it has easily become one of my all-time favorite series. Every season is a new thriller within itself. Constantly, the audience is being introduced to new characters that make the show even more appealing and nail biting worthy!

Chuck

Chuck is the type of show that can confuse the heck out of you if you don't put your full attention to it since the Pilot episode. From what starts as a geeky employee at the local Buy More as a member of the Nerd Herd ends with one sexy, great spy. Chuck is the kind of character that you just fall in love and grow with. Throughout the show he progresses and turns into a great, valuable spy. Every episode is a new mission that he goes on with his team, Sarah and Casey. Chuck has definitely been my top favorite show for over a year until Dexter surpassed it. It just has the perfect amount of romance, action, humor, and quirkiness, I love it. I recommend following the journey of defusing bombs, catching terrorists, and near death experiences with Chuck, Casey, and Sarah!

How I Met Your Mother

When I first started watching How I Met Your Mother, I never expected to fall in love with it. I never expected to become so attached to each and every character in this show... including Ranjit! This show is way more than your 'average sitcom,' I learned so much about life, love, and happiness. Never doubt yourself, and when it's the right time, love will find you... Plus one of the main characters is Neil Patrick Harris, I think that's enough reason to watch this show.  This show is overall quirky, romantic, humorous, and binge watching worthy!

Gossip Girl

I have to admit, throughout the seasons there were some episodes that were... how should I put this,... ehh. I had my doubts, but in the end, Gossip Girl definitely proved me wrong. This show follows the lives of the most elite teenagers from Manhattan up until their early adult years. It comes along with manipulation, scandals, doubt, and, in the end, true happiness. Some of the absolute most bizarre things you never thought would happen... happens. Overall an amazing series to watch if you love your teen dramas such as yours truly.

90210

And Lastly, another teen drama! Just can't get enough. 90210 has easily been one of my favorites, you get to grow along with the characters, it's a great feeling. Sometimes, the people you never thought would get along, got along, the people you never thought would be in a relationship, sparked one up... it's crazy! Most of all, the amount of things these guys go through is quite... scary if I was in their position! It's definitely a thrilling but fun series to watch.
